Drag artists are fierce performers. They know how to handle nervousness and deliver impactful performances – a skill set valuable for each meeting & presentation.
In Drag Queen for a Day, business people are freed from constraints present at the workplace. They embody a self-designed drag character and become physically transformed into drag queens –including a full-face makeup and wig.

DRAG MAKEUP ARTISTS
Every workshop participant will receive a full drag makeup done by our talented drag makeup artists. It takes a while to look gorgeous, this will be your opportunity to have a very personal exchange, e.g. on how to prepare for performances.
The artists will differ in each edition of the workshop based on availability.
In the future, companies can book this learning experience for 8-10 participants.
Buuuuuut… we first want to pilot and test this concept! Become pilot participant and benefit from our heavily reduced fee. For us, this run will be all about learning and understanding.

Virtual preparation call: 3rd June 2025, 6-7 pm (via Microsoft Teams)
Workshop day: 17th June 2025, 9 am - 6 pm
Price
390 CHF per participant. 10 slots are available for the pilot run. Unless someone books all 10 slots, the participants will come from multiple companies.
This is a one time offer at a reduced rate to pilot & test the concept. This very, very low fee is only possible due to the commitment of all involved parties to run this pilot. Includes lunch & water / coffee / tea.
Once signed up, the price will be owed to the workshop hosts. It is not possible to cancel and ask for a refund. Make sure to keep the date free or to gift the workshop to someone else.
Location
The workshop will take place in Labor 5, Schiffbaustrasse 3, 8005 Zürich. Labor 5 is a club that regularly hosts queer and drag related events. We want our participants to break free from the office for this day and come as close as possible to the drag world.

Yes. The preparation consists of the following:
participating in the 1h virtual preparation call
answering some self-reflection questions
designing an own drag character
preparing a 2 min pitch introducing your drag character
Everything will be explained in the preparation call and shared via email ahead of the workshop day.

The offer includes a wig and a gown for the duration of the workshop. You are more than welcome to bring your own wig and costume if you have a specific concept in mind that you would like to realize!
If you want to wear high heels, you have to organize them yourself. Please be aware that walking in high heels may be difficult and does not support the purpose of the workshop.
